Comes in a flat sheet measuring 30" x 34-1/4" overall, the grate opening is 24" x 34-1/4", The side blank areas are wide 2-3/4 each. The small square holes are 1/4" by 1/4". Very smooth on outside to the touch. The super high polish drives the camera crazy making it look like an odd pattern but rest assured it is very uniform and precise.

The easy way to install is make a cardboard template, then hold it onto the grill with squeeze clamps. Then cut the mesh around the cardboard with a thin cutoff blade, like in a 4 1/2 angle grinder, (I used a Dewalt) Just go slow and use eye protection. Forming it is best done on a flat surface like a table, pushing it down on the edge of the table to shape. Most Chevy grill shells have threaded inserts.
Then all you have to do was enlarge a few existing holes in the mesh with a Dremel tool, using an 1/8 carbide bit (the stainless mesh didn't like my small abrasive 1/8'' bit). My grill shell had 6 factory, threaded inserts and with small ss screws and washers it was a breeze. I also drilled 2 extra holes in the bottom, that's not seen very much, to hold the bottom of the grill in. You also need to use lock tight on the screws, because if you tighten them down very much you could crush the mesh, and it might show on the exposed part of the insert. Besides, you don't want the screws to vibrate out later.
